Weekly Bible Studies at Santa Elena Library

Each Thursday the girls and I assist Brother and Sister Hinklemeier(from Minnesota) with studies at the local library in Santa Elena.  The librarian posted a notice inviting all interested kids to attend a weekly bible study.  We arrive early and patiently wait for any children to join us.  Each week I choose a video to share along with an activity that I print from jw.org.  Then we separate the children according to their ages and review a bible lesson.  From week to week the number grows.  Many children arrive with their own copy of My Book of Bible Stories and the Great Teacher book.  The children are wide-eyed and eager to learn.  Many are very familiar with Jehovah.  What a wonderful blessing.

Lyndsey at School

Each day she brings water and a healthy snack.
Lyndsey is enrolled in Kindergarten in Belize.  She loves it.  Each day she is exposed to Belizean Kriol, Spanish and Proper English.  The schools in Belize are a very basic cement structure with lots of windows.  Each day the children are released from school at 11:30 to walk home for lunch with their families.  They return for afternoon session at 1:00 until dismissal.

Each day Lulu is picked up from school by her sisters.  Today was Kaia and Tyler.

Preaching To The Most Distant Parts Of the Land!

Although Belize is about the size of Massachusetts, we still travel to places that amaze us and make us wonder, "How did the truth ever get here?". We have the privilege in preaching in these far-flung areas, making sure they get an  invitation to an upcoming worldwide event! Many are accepting with opens hearts so far and hopefully many will attend.

Lyndsey leading the way!

Lulu always find fun in the field.

This territory is called Hillview.  Wonderful hills and beautiful views! Preaching with Shalinie and Joe from our English Congregation.
This is called a road.

1st Circuit Assembly in Belize

On February 28, 2015, our Circuit Assembly was held in Ladyville,Belize. Our  destination was approximately two hours away, so each year the brother makes arrangements to rent a bus. Therefore, we boarded the bus at
6 in the morning and arrived at the assembly hall around 8. The time flew by with all the encouraging conversations and loving fellowship with our dear brothers and sisters. The program was wonderful as always, as we sat in a assembly hall that had no side walls... So as we enjoyed the various parts of the program, we also enjoyed the sunshine and cool breeze. It was truly another unique experience of Belize.
Our dear local Brother Cardinal.  My dear friend Cori who flew in for 5 days to share time with me and the girls.  That is love!

She is in town for our first Circuit Assembly that was held Feb.28 in Ladyville,Belize.(about two hours away from San Ignacio/Santa Elana) Now its our turn to enlighten her about the simplistic ways of Belize. Lets see  if she'll survive this foreign land.
